Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 Mobile Phone Review

The second handset of Sony Ericsson runs on the Windows operating system, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 finally came early this month.
Along with an elegant appearance, compact size, powerful hardware and advanced display interface is the X2 with the latest version 6.5 of the operating system with a 528MHz processor, 256MB of RAM and 512 MB ROM.
Similar to the Xperia X1, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 is a fantastic device. The design is slightly altered, but the overall style of the X1 is maintained. The size of the screen ha increased and is now 3.2 inches (used to be 3´´ with the X1), having a resolution of 480×800 pixels and 65k color support. The image quality is great and the screen remains useable in the sunlight too. The X2 comes with a QWERTY keyboard, will cover the four additional keys to improve navigation.
The Xperia X2 can connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi and 3G. Unlike the X1 which is Opera Mobile is not installed on the handset and the default browser is the default Internet Explorer 6.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 has an integrated A-GPS. You also get the preloaded software, Google Maps, but if for some reason you do not like, you can always a paid program such as TomTom, the Nav N Go iGO and others.
The most striking feature of the X2 is the presence of an 8-megapixel camera, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 is the only WM phone equipped with such a powerful sensor. The camera interface allows for a lot of options, including the focus of the connection, but it is certainly not the fastest piece of software, and can be very slow. It is almost 6 seconds to start to concentrate not to mention saving a snapshot is about time too many.
Overall, the phone is no different when compared to the previous version of the X1, but the camera and the general appearance make it particularly.
